A netizen just proved that even a simple business can bring in great income for the family.

A netizen named Riz Red Moreno shared on popular financial group page Peso Sense Savers Group her inspiring story of how her ice candy business helped her saved a total of P160,500 in a year.

Instead of just sitting down as she took care of their store, Moreno said she decided to make her time productive and make ice candies. A popular treat among kids and even adults, the hardworking seller would work on it and make ice candies every single day.

According to Moreno, she makes two huge “kaserola” of mango and buko flavor. In each “kaserola,” she makes over 165 ice candies and sells them for P5 each.

Deducting her “puhunan,” she earns as much as P800 daily for the two “kaserolas” of ice candies she makes. She allocates her earnings into savings and expenses and explained, “Yung P500 ang hinuhulog ko sa lata at yung P300 naman tinatabi ko pang bayad sa kuryente.”

The inspiring entrepreneur encouraged other stay at home mom to make use of their time to find ways to earn.
