Arron Paul Villanueva and Gracelyn Alihuddin both facility cleaners at the Zamboanga International Airport were praised by The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).

The two workers didn’t hesitate to return personal items left behind by passengers at the airport. Villanueva found a yellow plastic bag at the pre-departure area, which contained four mobile phones, one tablet computer, and 24 pieces of sunglasses. He turned it over to the airport’s Malasakit Help Desk and the rightful owner already picked it up.

Meanwhile, Alihuddin found a bag containing PHP200,000 cash, a laptop, a mobile phone, passport, and other documents. She immediately turned these over to an airport police officer.

The bag was identified to be owned by a Chinese national who immediately picked up the items within the day. The owner also gave Alihuddin P3,000.00 as reward.
