- The brothers are on their Music Travel Love Tour across Southeast Asia
- Their two shows in the Philippines, in Iligan City and Manila, were all sold out
Clint and Bob Moffatts of the popular Canadian band “The Moffatts”, were spotted performing on the streets of Iligan City.
The Moffatts grew to popularity during the late 90’s at the peak of the “boy band” phenomenon. They were initially composed of brothers Scott, Clint, Bob and Dave Moffatt. Their hit songs “If life is So Short,” “Miss You Like Crazy,” became the anthem of many teenagers at that time.
Since then, the band has been renaming and reinventing their music. By mid 2000s, they went by the name “Same-Same,” changed it to “Endless Summer” and now with Clint and Bob as a duo, they are called “MTL,” which stands for Music Travel Love.
The MTL tours to different places all over the world and turn them into music videos for their song covers.
No wonder, Clint and Bob were spotted performing liv
e or “busking” along a street in Canaway in Barangay Santiago. Many of their fans are expecting it will be part of their newest music video. Early this week, they were also seen in Camiguin.
Clint and Bob are in the Philippines for their “Music Travel Love Tour” performed on November 7, 2019 at the MSU-IIT Gym, Iligan City. They will also be in Manila performing at the Hard Rock Café on November 9.
Filipino fans are so thrilled to have them perform liv
e that both their shows were confirmed to be sold out.
Many netizens also expressed their love for the duo and their music. A netizen commented, “The anthem of my youth!”
