The original actor of the Korean blockbuster movie “Miracle in Cell No. 7” has reacted on the Philippine adaptation of the film.
Actor Ryu Seung Ryong, the lead star in the original version of the “Miracle in Cell No. 7”, was elated and thankful that their movie has its own Philippine adaptation. The actor took the time to watch the trailer of the Philippine remake and commented how it “touched” him.
Ryu even shared the trailer on his Facebook page and wrote, “So touched to know that there will be a Philippine remake.”
Viva Films couldn’t help but be grateful to Ryu for the appreciation. They shared on their Facebook saying, “One of the biggest movie stars in Korea, Ryu Seung-Ryong, reacts and shares the teaser of the Philippine adaptation of Miracle in Cell No. 7.”

Almost 7 years since the original movie captivated the hearts of many viewers all over the world, Viva Films decided to remake the well loved film. Viva shared the teaser of the film with the caption, “Isang milagro ang malapit na nating masaksihan ngayong kapaskuhan.”
For the Phillippine adaptation of “Miracle in Cell No. 7,” it stars Aga Muhlach, Joel Torre, JC Santos, Mon Confiado, Jojit Lorenzo, Soliman Cruz, and John Arcilla, with Bela Padilla, introducing Xia Vigor, and with the special participation of Tirso Cruz III. It’s under the direction of Nuel Naval.
The teaser looks very promising as it has earned over 9.6 million views within 24 hours since it posted…and counting!
