Angkas has taken a huge step ahead in order to provide aid to a huge volume of commuters who were affected by the partial operations of LRT Line 2.
According to their Twitter post dated October 2, they are picking-up and dropping-off passengers for free from from Santolan to Recto station and vice versa. It was also the same day Angkas started to offer their services to the public without asking for anything in return.
“Free rides from Recto to Santolan Station (and vice-versa), anyone?” said Angkas on Twitter.
Commuters can avail these free rides during rush hours from 8 a.m to 10 a.m and 5 p.m to 7 p.m starting Tuesday (October 8) to Thursday (October 10).
Netizens couldn’t help but thank the company and its riders for providing such support to many commuters who are having trouble getting on the road since the shut down and limited operations of LRT-2 happened.

Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) also allotted four buses to transport passengers for free from Santolan to Cubao.
