“When you have 33 people, you’re celebrating something all the time,” Emily Petterson, daughter of Pratt, said in an interview.
However, one major occasion was also celebrated during their massive family reunion. It was Pratt’s journey to recovery from a serious health condition. Upon learning that he had entered
remis sion and he would be able to liv e with his condition, then got cleared to travel, Pratt decided to organize a family reunion.
Luckily, he also had a million frequent flyer miles which made the plan for a special family gathering possible. “I couldn’t think of a better gift to give than travel because not only do you get the travel but you get the memories that go with that,” Pratt said in a report.
“Never in a million years did we think this would be possible. This is a dream. It truly, truly is,” he added.
