His Marvel-inspired gown designs have been making rounds on social media following the success of the recent Marvel movie — Avengers: Endgame.

Driven by the movie’s massive success, Michael Anthony, a fashion designer based in Chicago, designed a dress inspired by Hawkeye, which, according to him, was the most underrated Avenger.

“He wasn’t in my Avengers collection last year since he wasn’t in Infinity War. But he is definitely a very valuable and loved character,” Michael Anthony said as he posted his design of a purple and black dress.

The Marvel-inspired designs of Michael Anthony can actually be traced back to last year, when he released on his Instagram account the Marvel collection designs.

“The next couple of weeks will be dedicated to the highly anticipated global event Avengers: Infinity War. Will be doing designs inspired by most of the cast,” he then said.

“The movie is one of the best superhero movies I have ever seen,” he added.

He first launched a design inspired by Drax the Destroyer and then it was followed by designs inspired by other characters like Rocket Racoon and Groot; Thor; Hulk; Scarlet Witch; Nebula; Nick Fury and Maria Hill.

Also included were designs inspired by Black Panther; Spider Man; Iron Man; Black Widow; Loki; Shuri; The Falcon; Wong; Gamora; Okoye; War Machine and The Winter Soldier; Mantis; Star Lord; Dr. Strange; Vision; Captain America; and Thanos.

“This has been my largest collection and I loved every minute of it. Thank you so much for staying with me through it,” Michael Anthony said when he finished the collection in 2018.

The collection which was shared by Dress Affair on Facebook on May 3 has been liked, loved, and wowed by about 6.8K people and shared 24K times.
