A group of eight senior high school students in Cagayan de Oro City took graduation photoshoot to a higher level and showed how creative millennials can be.
Seemingly tired of the usual school uniform-graduation gown kind of photoshoot to cap their years in high school, students from Liceo de Cagayan University in Cagayan de Oro conceptualized a Harry Potter-inspired photoshoot.
And they pulled it off!
Clad in red graduation gowns, which featured the colors of their university and, incidentally, the colors of Gryffindor — one of the four houses in Hogwarts, where lead-character Harry Potter was accepted — they posed mimicking the characters of the famous fiction novel.
They even added some special effects on their photographs; completing the Harry Potter vibe of magic and adventure.
The group will be graduating from senior high school under the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics strand.
One of the members of the group, Glenn Astillo, posted the set of Harry Potter-inspired graduation pictures on his Facebook account, which as of posting, have gained over a thousand likes with most of their family and relatives congratulating them.
Indeed, high school life is so magical that it deserves equally magical snapshots.
Harry Potter is widely known in the world as its seven book installments were also made into movies; reaching more audience in all ages.
It is also among the unique and most used themes for parties, especially during Halloween; as well as celebrations including weddings and birthdays. It is also a popular motif for restaurants and cafes, where their menu is also inspired by the famous Harry Potter series.
