Jodi Sta. Maria was one proud mommy and showed off the work of her “future sneaker artist”.
Jodi shared on social media that her son, Thirdy, has a knack for designing and creating wearable artwork. Among those Thirdy made was a pair of shoes that he personalized using Sharpie pens.
The actress showed how Thirdy transformed a pair of white sneakers using colored markers. Some of his works were inspired by the American artist and designer KAWS.
Jodi wrote, “Just wanted to share my son Thirdy’s wearable artwork. Sobrang nakakatuwa yung new hobby niya. He used regular colored markers to paint this pair of shoes. One proud momma here.”
Looks like Thirdy is really into shoes as last December, he gifted his mother Jodi with a pair.
The celebrity mom couldn’t help but feel emotional after receiving a pair of awesome shoes. Jodi wrote, “Eto pala feeling ni Cinderella. Thank you sa shoes, Muy price charming @thirdy.lacson”
“When your son buys you a pair of shoes.. Thank you, babe! Thank you sweetheart, you’re so sweet,” she added.
Jodi had earlier said that at 14 years old, Thirdy is now trying to find his own identity. She told Pep, “Kasi before, ‘Kahit anong ipasuot ni Mom, isusuot ko. Kung anong ipakain ni Mama, yun ang kakainin ko. Or ano yung gusto ni Mama, kung gusto ni Mama na magdu-doktor ako, sige magdu-doktor ako.'”
“Pero siyempre, habang tumatanda siya, mas nagiging open siya sa mga nangyayari sa mundo. And of course yung mga influence rin ng mga tao sa paligid niya, his friends, ganyan, nagbabago,” she added.
But the single mom said she’s all out to support Thirdy in whatever he decides to become.
