Tim Yap was one of the guests who were able to enjoy a weekend at a Palawan resort dubbed as the “world’s most expensive.”
At a nightly rate of $100,000 (approximately P5.2 million) and a minimum stay of 3 nights, the Banwa Private Island is definitely one of the most expensive resorts in the world.
On Instagram, Tim Yap wrote, “Happy to be one of the first guests of this most beautiful island resort. The entire island, all to ourselves #exclusivelyyours.”
Located in Roxas, Palawan, Banwa boasts of 6-hectares of peaceful nature. Guests can enjoy taking a dip at the clear blue Sulu Sea or enjoy their beach activities such as jetski, diving, kayaking, beach volleyball.
The ultra expensive resort only accommodates 48 guests at a time and will be housed in one of their six villas.
The host and eventologist shared photos of their beachfront villa. Aside from the floor-to-ceiling windows, each villa has its own infinity pool, a Jacuzzi deck, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a dedicated butler service.
Tim and his partner Javi Martinez enjoyed the waters and said, “Banwa blues: Pool water so clean you can actually drink it.”
Inside their villa, Tim showed the master bedroom and walk-in closet. He also said he “didn’t have to lift a finger” to unpack his things as all were carefully arranged in the closet.
Tim lounged in one of the comfy beach sunbed and wrote, “Ocean in front of me, forest behind me, my hearts is happy. Found my spot.”
He also showed off the beautiful “Banwa golden sunrise” while enjoying cups of coffee.
When it comes to food, the luxurious resort has its own in-house nutritionist and “juiceologist” and celebrity chef Nadedja Bouacha.
Banwa Private Island can only be reached via a helicopter, private jet or a seaplane.
