An elderly man who decided to become a YouTuber was so grateful for the support of his subscribers that he took the time to thank them all individually.

Meet Brazilian YouTuber Nilson Izaias Papinho. His followers call him “avô” or “grandpa.” He said that he started a YouTube channel because he was lonely and wanted to interact with others.

Nilson made a YouTube channel that features his wide range of interest. From doing gardening, baking a cake to the art of making slime, he would share a little part of himself to the world through his videos. He had made 51 videos on YouTube, 7 of which were dedicated to making slime for kids.

When January came to a close, Nilson had a very respectable number of subscribers. He decided to show how much he appreciated his followers by writing down all their names and thanking them individually.

In the heartwarming video, Nilson can be seen handwriting in a notebook the name of each and every user who subscribes to his channel and extends his gratitude towards them by reading out their names in separate videos. So far, he has made at least 3 videos dedicated to thanking his followers.

Nilson’s unique gesture of showing appreciation to the world has gone viral and had even boosted his channel, and of course, his number of followers. His YouTube channel grew from almost 2,000 subscribers to 19,000 within a week. As of writing, Nilson now has 3.8 million subscribers.

Nilson couldn’t be more thankful for the attention and love given to him from people all over the world.
