PO2 Ryan Ocampo didn’t hesitate to provide assistance when a mother, Daisy Guerrero, asked for help. Guerrero, 27 years old, is a “kakanin” vendor from Barangay Batasan. She was seen loitering until she came to the police station distraught and desperate.

The worried mother shared that her 2-year-old son Stephen Lloyd is sick and they have no money to buy medicines.

Ocampo didn’t think twice; instantly deciding to accompany the mother and child to the nearby pharmacy. The kind policeman bought the medicines prescribed by the doctors. He even took the extra mile to take Guerrero and her son back to their house. And before leaving, Ocampo gave Guerrero more cash for her to buy milk for her ailing son.
