Woman Born Without Legs Becomes a Lingerie Model and Inspires Others

A lot of people would say that if you have a dream, go for it. You need to work hard for what you want and chase the things you really want to achieve. However, there are times when our dreams are just too big and we are feeling too weak that things can be really impossible.

Being physically restricted is one of the reasons why people just let go of their dreams and goals. But this is not the case for 23-year-old Kanya Sesser, an underwear model and multi-sport athlete who is enjoying the time of her life and working in the limelight even if she was born without legs.

Unfortunate Start

Things did not go like a fairy tale for Kanya. She was left by her biological parents on the steps of a Buddhist Temple in Thailand. She was later adopted by the parents she now knows from Oregon.

Although she had a rough start in life, that did not discourage her in pursuing her dreams. Believe it or not, Kanya is a master in skiing, surfing, and skateboarding. She is also preparing for a mono-ski competition for the 2018 Winter Paralympic Games.

Inspiring More People

If her sound mind and fit body as an athlete is not inspiring enough, then being an underwear model will surely do. She recently landed a modeling stint in PantyProp’s new campaign, featuring underwear that can conceal sanitary napkins and keep them in place.

The main feature of the campaign is to let women stay as comfortable during their period by preventing uneasiness and leaks. Similar to Kanya’s life: she is comfortable in letting people know about her presence and inspiring everyone along the way.

It’s all about women empowerment – be comfortable in your own skin. I’m sexy in my own skin.

The focus of the photos I do is free beauty, free body, free mind. I’m fit and I am comfortable.
